Individual Visa Requirement

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR AN APPLICANT:

1. A passport with the minimum of 6 months validity after departure from China and at least 1 blank visa page;

2.One passport-type-photo stuck on the application form duly filled out and signed personally.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION:
1. You are kindly required to pay visa fee, except your country has agreements of mutual exemption from visa fees with P. R. China.

2. Please pay fees by cheque or in cash (in Danish Kroner); Giros are not acceptable.

3. Please deliver visa application 10--60 days before your trip to China.

4. The issuance of an individual visa takes 5-10 working days; A group visa takes 10.

5. The person holding X, Z, D, or J-1 visa shall go through residential formalities in the local public security department within thirty days since the date of entry.

6. A Health Certificate authenticated first by the Danish Foreign Ministry and then by the Chinese Embassy is requested for X, Z, D, or J-1 visa application.

7. Employment in the territory of China is prohibited without approval.

8. The applicant shall bear all the consequences if fail to meet the requirements truly and completely.

9. Please refrain from making inquiries about the progress of the application unless it is absolutely necessary.

Diplomatic & Service visas Free

FEES FOR SPECIAL SERVICES:

1. If you deliver an application by post, please enclose:
A.
a. 1 self-addressed and stamped return envelope
b. 50 kr. for the regular mail handling service.
B. The Embassy shall not be responsible for any possible mishandling of the passport delivered by post or any delivery agent.

2. Charges for the express service (to an application delivered personally only)
A. 250 Kr. For the same day service;
B. 150 Kr. Within the following 4 working days;

BUSINESS VISA:

You should provide the Embassy with:
1. A letter of introduction and guarantee from the headquarters of your company;
2. An invitation letter from competent Chinese Authority or authorized company.

TOURIST VISA:

You should provide the Embassy with:
1. A tourist visa usually could only be good for single entry. Double entries can only be obtained in special cases.
2. Tourist going to China can also apply for a group visa for tourists.

WORKING VISA

1. Employment License from Chinese Labor Ministry; And
2. Visa Notification from competent Chinese Authority.
3. Physical Examination Record which should be legalized first by Danish Foreign Ministry and by the Chinese Embassy. The form for physical examination is available in the Embassy.

STUDY VISA


1. An application form J W 2 0 1 or J W 2 0 2 for foreign students issued by Chinese Education Ministry.
2. A notification of admission from the competent university or college.
3. (If study for 2 terms or more in China)
Physical Examination Record which should be legalized first by Danish Foreign Ministry and by the Chinese Embassy. The form for physical examination is available in the Embassy.

TRANSIT VISA


1. Valid visa to the next country of destination.
Or A Diplomatic Note from the competent authority;
Or Invitation from the Government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
2. An invitation letter from competent Chinese Authority or authorized company.
