Basic requirements for
an applicant
¡¤A passport with the minimum of 6 months validity and at
least 2 b lank
visa pages;
¡¤An application form duly filled out and signed personally;
¡¤One photo stuck on the application form; (Download the
application form with Acrobat Reader 4.0 or even newer version

¡¤For business, an invitation letter from the competent Chinese
Authority or an authorized
company is needed.
Visa fees (for Swedish passport)
¡¤One entry 220 kr.
¡¤Two entries 330 kr.
¡¤Multiple entries(half a year) 440 kr.
¡¤Multiple entries(one year) 660 kr.
¡¤Group visa, per person 180 kr.
¡¤Visa fees for other than Swedish passport: 250 kr. (single);
500 kr.(double); 750 kr.(multiple)
Express services are considered to be given in urgent and
special cases. express charges: the first day: 250 kr.;
the second day and the third day: 170 kr.
Mailing Service
If you live far away from Stockholm, you can deliver an
application by mail (registered mails suggested). Please
enclose the basic requirements and the following:
¡¤A self-addressed and stamped return envelope
¡¤Visa fee
¡¤40 SEK per person for the regular mail service;
Those who live in south-western 7 provinces of Sweden, please

visas and other consulate matters.

Visa to Hong Kong
Swedish Denish and Norwegian passports holders do not need
to apply for visas to HK(HKSAR) if their tourist trip is
within 3 months. Finnish and Icelandic passports holders
do not need visa to HK if their tourist trip is within one
month. For other type of visas(such as those for employment,
investment, education, training, dependent and residence),

Those going to HK for other purpose can also apply for a
visa in the consular section of the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm.
Two photos and documents concerned are needed.
Points for attention
¡¤You are kindly requested to pay visa fee, except
your country has mutual agreements
of exemption from visa fees with China.
¡¤Please pay fees by cheque or in cash.
¡¤Please deliver visa application 10-20 days before your
trip to China.
¡¤An individual visa takes 5 working days.
¡¤The Embassy shall not be responsible for any application
case if you cannot meet
requirements completely and correctly.
