The “China Tourism Night for Expo 2010” hosted by CNTA promotional events was held in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan respectively

Mr. Shao Qiwei, Chairman of Chairman of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) said, “Visitors to Shanghai World Expo 2010 will be up to a million” at the “China Tourism Night for Expo 2010”promotional event in Tokyo, Japan on October 16th. There are more than 400 guests from Chinese and Japanese tourism industries attend the event, including Chinese ambassador to Japan H. E. Cui Tiankai.

Chinese Ambassador to Japan H. E. Cui Tiankai said that Shanghai World Expo 2010 themed “Better City, Better life” will be held. He believed Shanghai will be better and better because of the World Expo. He wish China and Japan can cooperate together to bring an unforgettable, successful, and excellent Expo to the world.

After the event was held successfully in Tokyo, the Chinese delegation hosted the promotional event in Osaka, Japan on October 22nd. There are more than 200 delegates from Chinese and Japanese tourism industries presented the event.

Mr. Wu Xuewen, vice chairman of China Tourism Association, gave a lively speech at the China Tourism Night for promoting Expo 2010. He thought that Japan is an important destination for Chinese tourists, where CNTA had been encouraging Chinese citizen to travel. Meanwhile, China is also an important destination for Japanese tourists, thus he suggested China and Japan could cooperate with each other and improve the tourism development together.

Mr. Wu said that at China Tourism Night in Tokyo, Shao Qiwei, Chairman of CNTA,had mentioned he hoped visitors from Japan to Shanghai World Expo 2010 will be up to a million, which responded actively from Japan. CNTA expressed China was very delighted to share the platform of World Expo with Japan and develop together with Japan.

The delegates from Japan also expressed Osaka will support Shanghai World Expo 2010, expand the exchange with China and strive for the common development by the Expo 2010. They predict there will be amount of tourists from Japan and the other countries to visit Shanghai Expo Park and wish Shanghai World Expo 2010 achieve complete success.
